Suzzanne Batson is a registered psychologist and the Director of Ginkgo Healthcare located in Ferntree Gully.
Suzzanne has been working consistently to support adult mental health in private practice for over 20 years.
For best treatment outcomes, she adopts a number of evidence based modalities, as matched to specific circumstances. Suzzanne offers consultations for the treatment of trauma and performance enhancement. Suzzanne maintains a strong emphasis on respectful, attuned, collaborative and trusting therapeutic alliances. She enjoys connecting with people in safe and constructive ways in the retreat like clinical space offered at Ginkgo Healthcare. It is always her goal that people find comfort and hope in the discovery of personal directions through their healing.
Suzzanne prefers to work with people along a continuum of healing - from the initial mental health challenges that generally lead to the first contact, all the way through to enhanced performance and expansion based practices to support people towards living their best life. She works with adults on an individual and group therapy basis to assist in the development of personalised strategies and effective treatment options in an objective, patient and approachable manner. Consultation is available in-person and by Telehealth.
Suzzanne also offers private consultations utilising 'brainspotting (BSP)‘ which is an innovative therapy that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms.
Suzzanne is a full member of the APS and AHPRA. Medicare rebates (with referral) and private health insurance claims (with relevant cover) are available.
Services may be accessed with or without a referral from a specialist or General Practitioner.
Current consultation fee is $185 and Medicare rebate is $96.65.
