Becky is a passionate and dedicated Registered Music Therapist (RMT) with the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA). Her journey in the humanities and social sciences began with a Diploma in Counselling and a Bachelor of Social Work, laying the foundation for her person-centered approach. Since entering the field in 2013, Becky has developed a holistic therapeutic approach that supports participants in reconnecting with the world in their own unique ways. She believes deeply in the capacity for growth and transformation.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Becky offers bilingual therapy sessions that serve a diverse range of clients, including children, parents, and neurodivergent individuals. Music is a constant presence in her life, and she understands its profound ability to foster a sense of belonging, love, and warmth.
As an allied health professional, Becky integrates music therapy into her work to create enriching experiences that go beyond traditional support methods. She embraces and respects individuals from all cultural, linguistic, and identity backgrounds, and she is committed to promoting awareness, compassion, and kindness through her programs.
