Jodie (she/her) is a clinical psychologist, EMDR therapist, and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician with a background in clinical exercise physiology. She sees adults (18+) and has a specific interest in supporting people who are struggling with eating, exercise, and body image concerns as well as childhood and relational trauma.
Jodie approaches therapy with compassion, curiosity, authenticity, and a touch of humour. She views compassion as both turning towards suffering and a commitment to do something about it - this means Jodie will hold space for you, validate, and deeply care, whilst also gently challenging and working with you to create a life that is meaningful for you. Jodie highly values inclusivity and people's lived experience.
Some of the areas she can help with include:
Eating disorders and other eating, exercise, and body image concerns
Childhood trauma, including relational, emotional, sexual, and physical abuse
Depression, anxiety, stress, and challenging life experiences
Perfectionism, high standards, and feeling "not good enough"
Jodie uses a combination of the following therapies:

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E)
